| Description | Holgate activity train. Locomotive is the red and black "12"-marked version, also used in the "#12 War Train". Locomotive has 80% yellow "MADE IN U.S.A." decal (dt4c). There are three cars, with (2) red, (2) blue, (1) yellow and (1) orange (mis-matched, too short and narrow) pegs, plus one long purple peg. No people or blocks. Locomotive missing pull-string, and long-peg car missing a coupler-peg. Shown in the 1943 and 1944 catalogs with a single hand-painted, helmeted engineer. |
