| Description | One-inch diameter red, white and blue enameled gilded badge. Back stamped "37186" below the horizontal pin. No maker's mark. The cross background is similar to the B.B.&B. die, but this is the only badge I've seen with no dots/pellets on the sides of "NURSE". The pin safety closure opens on the top, so the pin swings directly out. Series 3-4 variant? Calling it 2.5 for now. Need to investigate. 6.59g |
