| Description | A light brown cotton double breasted tunic, with plain brass dish buttons, red piping on the stand-up collar, and two chevrons on the left sleeve. There is a red-on-white woven tag in the back of the collar, "KUMFY | TRADE MARK". The 3/4" buttons are clipped with cotter pins through steel eyelets. The matching trousers are unlined, and have four buttonholes in the waistband for simple suspenders. A single suspender strap, of matching material, with two buttons, remains, but the other is missing. Ex-Peter Coleman collection. Pictured in "Wee Warriors and Playtime Patriots", p.129. |
