| Description | A green cotton set of fatigues, for a child. Two-pocket shirt, and matching trousers. Shirt has small black-on-green embroidered nametapes, "CARLSON", and "U.S.ARMY". Full-color embroidered Combat Infantryman's Badge on left chest. Cut-edge "IMJIN SCOUTS | DMZ" patch on right pocket. 1 3/4"-wide gold-on-green-twill Sergeant Major's stripes on each sleeve. Left shoulder has a small embroidered-and-appliqued 2nd Infantry Division SSI. The White star has a full-color Indian head, and is applied to a black velvet shield. It is 2 3/8" x 2 7/8". The right shoulder has an appliqued red, white and blue SSI of the 9th Infantry Division, on a green twill disc. The SSIs and name tapes are believed to be Korean-made. Tag in the shirt collar stamped "XL". Trousers missing left rear pocket button. Ex-Peter Coleman collection. Pictured in "Wee Warriors and Playtime Patriots", p.175. |
