A WW-type watchmaker's lathe. Marked at one end of the bed, "E. RIVETT | FANEUIL WATCH TOOL CO. | BOSTON, MASS. | U. S. A.", and at the other end, "STEEL".
It is attached to a (later?) aluminum frame (so it does not have its original stand), the lathe has incomplete head- and tail-stocks, and a tip-up tool-rest, with a cam. All three components have blued parts which have rusted. There is a small collet in the headstock, which is also rusted. |
