Description A tintype photograph of a boy in a late-19th Century uniform. He's wearing a kepi, with crossed rifles on the front, a tunic, with brass buttons, dark-colored stand-up collar, pocket flaps, cuffs and epaulets, trousers, belt with Civil War-style officer's buckle, and boots.

The uniform appears light in color, overall, and appears to be in the style of an M1898 US Army uniform, having unofficial colored pocket flaps, as worn by Volunteer units.
