Name Child's U.S. Army 1st Cavalry Division uniform

Catalog ID HCM5962
Year circa 1941-1945
Description A light green cotton coat, copper-colored US Army-style riveted buttons. Faux "ribbons" are glued above the left breast pocket, but are peeling off. Four patch pockets with false flaps (pockets are simply open at the top of the flaps). Two yellow stripes at each cuff, and one on each epaulet. Full-size cut-edge, green-bordered 1st Cavalry Division SSI at left shoulder.

Matching trousers, with a single yellow stripe down each leg. Two green plastic buttons at fly. Trousers have belt loops, as well as eight button holes around the waist. These don't appear to be spaced properly for braces, and may be to support a cord. Creases indicate they may have been drastically hemmed at one point.
