| Description | A photo of two young boys in army uniforms. Both boys appear to be in overcoats. One is in a peaked cap, the other, an unusual overseas cap. The peaked cap has a crossed-rifle insignia at the top, and what appears to be a cockade below it. The other cap also has what appears to be a cockade, but possibly a button. Is this a merging of U.S. and German uniforms, possibly by an immigrant photographer? | |
