Description |
Small photo pasted to a card, showing a young boy (3-5) standing next to a chair, saluting. He's wearing a dark double-breasted jacket and brimless cap with two buttons and a badge with the initials "EH", holding what appears to be a toy rifle.
At the bottom of the card is printed "Eller M. Budapest". The back is an elegant engraving, incorporating a large "EM" monogram, "Eller M" in a scroll, "FÉNYKÉPÉSSZ | BUDAPEST | Soroksári utcza 49 sz". The printer, in tiny type at the bottom, appears to be "Eisenschiml & Wachtl, Wien", which formed in the 1870s. |
