Four large Indian War-era buttons on the front, along with Indian War-era staff officer's cuff buttons for the pockets. Two pair of crossed rifles on the collar. Coat buttons do not appear to be issue, with shiny black backs. Pocket buttons have backmarks ("GOODWINS PAT. JULY 27, 75"?). Most are held with cotter pins.
