| Description | Cut-edge photo of a young boy (5-6 years old) in a wool uniform of the German Navy (Reichsmarine or Kriegsmarine), probably circa 1930s. On his left sleeve is the single chevron of a Matrosengefreiter, below a signals arrow. Paper is matte/lustre finish. Back does not appear to have a manufacturer's stamp, but does have faint lines, possibly for postcard use. Fake? I think it's real, but not 100% convinced. I don't know enough about photographs. |
