Description |
A child's WW1-era Army uniform, similar to the US Army M1917 uniform. The tunic has a four-button front, and four flapped patch pockets. There is a brown or gold stripe at each cuff. The shorts have buttons at the cuffs and sides of the waistband.
The tunic has a piece of piping around the top of the collar, possibly as a shirt-collar. There are also several strings which appear to be a part of this, but are now loose. There are thread remnants at the collar and epaulets, possibly from sewn-on insignia, which is no longer present.
US Army style buttons used throughout.
