Name Child's US Army uniform and cap, cotton

Catalog ID HCM5302
Year circa 1941-1950
Description A light green cotton uniform, with gold stripes.

The cap has a gold-ribbon chinstrap held by two buttons (same as coat, see below), a faux-leather brown brim, and a faul-leather white sweatband. The insignia appears to have had the bottom broken off. A wire ring supports the crown.

Coat has four faux-flapped patch pockets, which are simply open at the top. There is one gold stripe around each epaulet, and two around each cuff. The buttons are riveted metal, with stars and a wreath, similar to buttons used on US Army and Marine Corps HBT uniforms.

Trousers have no pockets, three belt loops, and a two-button fly.

THe belt appears to be leather. It is very thin and dry. It is 26", plus the buckle.
