Description An Imperial German Army child's double-breasted overcoat, for a boy around seven years old.

Grey wool with blue collar with red piping. Buttons are plain gilded brass, with ten on the front, and six on the back. A single hook-and-eye closes the collar.

Lining is a lighter grey, and includes an inside chest pocket.

Two woven labels at back of neck, a strip: "ADOLF BOLL, Hoflief. | MÜNCHEN", and another, rectangular, with two (?) coats of arms (Hoflieferant means purveyor to the court): "Adolf Boll | Hoflieferant | THEATINERSTR.40/41 MÜNCHEN".

Boll's building at Theatinerstraße 40 appears to have been built in 1896. By 1908, they had moved to number 32.
