A large Lancashire style hack saw, with nut and bolt (passing through a squared bolster) at front end, pinned at the back end. The blade is 3/4" x 12 1/2" long. There is a 4 1/2" repair to the top front of the frame, and there is a faint marking ("[MA?]KER" on left side of the back half. There is a brass ferrule at the front of the handle, and a copper washer at the back, which the tang is lightly peened over. |
