| Description | Early Fairyland Queen, as seen in the 1934-5 catalogs. Early predominantly black (with gold) "EDUCATIONAL STURDY SAFE" decal (dt4a). Hand-painted face. This type ended by 1938. Mis-assembled in the photo. Possibly missing one ring. Like Holgate #1055 Fairyland Queen (type 1), incomplete, this Queen was also discovered without the small ring that goes between the head and crown.
