Description A large faux-log wooden cabin 3 bears playset, containing a table, three stools, three bowls of porridge, and three beds, all different sizes, plus Goldilocks and three bears. Unlike in the 1934 (p.20) or 1935 (p.30) catalogs, these hand-painted figures are assembled from turned pieces, not sawn, so I believe this to be earlier. There are also differences in the side walls of the cabin.

The front of the cabin comes off, as does a section of the sloped roof. The sides have a window each, and the front has a door and a window, each of which has small holes near the top. Did it have curtains?

None of the wooden pieces appear to have any markings.

Blue box with illustration on top and "THE THREE BEARS", "HOLGATE BROS. CO., KANE, PA.", and "Designed by Jarvis Rockwell". Some old tape repairs, and an old price tag.

Bears are the following approximate heights: 3 3/4", 3 1/4", 2 1/2".

Stools are the following diameters: 1 1/4", 7/8", 3/4".

Porridge bowls are the following diameters: 1 5/8", 1 1/8", 3/4".

Possibly sold at the Nazareth Auction Center on 5/18/2013.
