This describes the fascinating uncovering of a completely fabricated book, purported to be the personal copy of Galileo Galilei, with his own illustrations of the moon. This book was validated by the previous two volumes. This volume is a revisiting of the evidence, after it was identified by historian Nick Wilding as a forgery. I saw him speak at the Huntington on this topic in January of 2014.
