Description |
Restricted. 8 June 1944.
Blank flat spine, 2 staples. single-sided fold-out before page 29. Original smell. (I had bought another as original earlier, and returned it, which did not have the last 3 characteristics).
Rubber stamp on cover, "J J GANCIE". Joseph J. Gancie (SN 12191855) was a draftsman from Kings, NY, who enlisted in the Army on 30 November, 1942. He apparently "managed the hotline to the Kremlin" from the mid-1960s to the 1980s. His estate, including a large military medal collection, was auctioned on 1/26/2013 by Alex Cooper Auction Gallery. |
